Back in 2021, Iris, a therapist in private practice, was spending her evenings with the least interesting client she'd ever had: a spreadsheet. Scheduling sessions, preparing invoices, keeping track of who had paid — all time taken away from what she actually loves doing: helping her patients.
Her husband Ido, who works in technology, decided to help. He did what any engineer would do when asked to help with a 30-minute task: spent a year building software to automate it. Now you log a session once, and the invoices and payment tracking take care of themselves. Iris got her evenings back, Ido got to keep his, and Therassist was born.
