Therassist is a practice management tool designed for independent therapists and mental health professionals. It helps You manage patient records, log sessions, generate invoices, and track your practice's activity. Therassist is a productivity and administrative tool — it is not a clinical platform, electronic health record (EHR) system, or medical service, and does not provide medical advice of any kind.
The Service is intended solely for use by licensed or qualified therapy and mental health professionals managing their own private practice. By using the Service, You represent that You are a professional using it in that capacity. The Service is not intended for use by patients or clients of therapists.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under Your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@ther-assist.com if You suspect any unauthorised use of Your account. Each account is for a single user and may not be shared.
You retain full ownership of all data You enter into the Service, including patient records, session notes, and financial information. By using the Service, You grant Therassist a limited licence to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to You. You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your collection, storage, and use of patient data complies with all applicable laws in Your jurisdiction, including any data protection and healthcare privacy regulations.
Important: Therassist provides tools to help You create invoices and track your income. It is Your sole responsibility to ensure that Your financial records, tax filings, and invoicing practices comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in Your country or jurisdiction. Therassist does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice, and makes no representation that the Service satisfies the financial reporting requirements of any particular jurisdiction. We are not liable for any penalties, fines, or losses arising from Your failure to meet local regulatory obligations.
If You are unsure whether Your use of Therassist meets the requirements of your local tax authority or professional regulatory body, You should seek independent legal or accounting advice.

Therassist is an administrative tool only. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical, clinical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. All clinical decisions, including those relating to patient care, treatment, diagnosis, or referral, are Your sole professional responsibility. Therassist is not liable for any clinical outcomes, patient harm, or professional decisions made using information recorded in the Service.
The Therassist application, its design, branding, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of Therassist and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant You any rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology beyond the limited right to use the Service as described here.
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Service at any time for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your access to the Service at any time if You breach these Terms, engage in conduct we consider harmful to other users or to the Service, or if required by law. You may also delete Your account at any time by contacting us at support@ther-assist.com. Upon termination, Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Therassist and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or loss of business, arising out of or in connection with Your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to You for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount You paid to Therassist in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or SGD 100, whichever is greater.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes Your acceptance of the revised Terms. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify You via the Service or by email.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
